High Point
The ninth-largest municipality in North Carolina, High Point is a city located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. With a population of over 100,000, the city is known for its furniture, textiles, and bus manufacturing. It is also home to three universities: High Point University, South University, and Laurel University. The city extends into Guilford County, Randolph County, Davidson County, and Forsyth County, respectively. High Point was first settled in the 1850s by German and Quaker immigrants and has a beautiful humid subtropical climate, with four seasons.
