Shreveport

Western Hills and Yarborough Subdivision is one of the neighborhoods in Shreveport, Louisiana farthest to the west. It includes a fairly large area as well almost the entirety of Cross Lake and a small portion of Lakeview Park to the north. This combination makes it the largest neighborhood in the city even though most of its area is taken up by the lake. This area of Shreveport is fairly well-educated and although there are no public schools within Western Hills and Yarborough Subdivision, most of the population completed high school and over 55% attended at least some college. Western Hills and Yarborough Subdivision is actually home to several institutions of higher education including Louisiana Baptist University, Dominion Technical College, and Wiley College.
