Sebastopol
Sebastopol is one of the cities in California that make up Sonoma County. As of 2010, Sebastopol had a population of about 7,400. Despite this seemingly small population, the businesses within the city serve nearby rural areas within Sonoma County, an area that has 50,000 residents. The city is in an excellent location as it is about 52 miles north of San Francisco. It sits between Bodega Bay and Santa Rosa and is only about 20 minutes away from the Pacific Ocean by car, making it an ideal place to stay if you plan on going to the beach.
Those who live in Sebastopol or choose to visit it immediately notice its small-town charm. In the past, the area grew apples and plums, but now its main focus is on growing grapes, which accounts for the large number of vineyards in the area. The general feeling in the city is calm with a few fun things to do as well as several tourist attractions.
