Medford, Oregon is nestled in the Rogue River Valley in Southern Oregon. Located north of Ashland and just east of Jacksonville, this small Oregon town is home to a number of parks, a large wine industry, and plenty of interesting outdoor activities. An early agricultural center, Medford's largest employer is the Harry and David Corporation, a company founded in 1910 and dedicated to creating beautiful gift baskets from locally harvested produce. The city's parks include Alba Park in Medford's downtown, and Bear Creek Park which has over 100-acres and includes an amphitheater, a BMX track, and a community garden. Medford also has satellite campuses for Southern Oregon University and the Rogue Community College.
