Carpenter, Iowa is a tiny town tucked away in Mitchell County, is home to approximately 109 residents, and is close to the Minnesota border. This city is the true definition of small when it comes to size; it is 0.16 sq. miles in total area. Do not let the size fool you, Carpenter and the surrounding cities are full of vibrant people and fun activities. In fact, Top Chef Contestant Carrie Mashaney calls Carpenter home.
