Ventnor City
Ventnor, south of Atlantic City, was named after Ventnor, England by an American couple who had traveled to the UK and loved the beauty and wanted to emulate that in America. The city was officially incorporated by the State in 1903. Ventnor is bordered by Turtle Gut to the north, Ventnor City Protected Wetlands to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the south, and North Fredericksburg Avenue to the west.
