East Templeton

Templeton is a small town located in Worcester County in the state of Massachusetts. Inside of this town are four villages, and East Templeton is one of them. The population is just over 8,000 residents, and the village spans 32.4 square miles. Templeton enjoys Royalston and Winchendon as the northern boundaries, as well as Phillipston as the western boundary, Hubbardston as the southeastern boundary, and Gardner as the eastern boundary. There are many notable people who came from this region, including baseball player Mike Kelley, painters Sarah and Elizabeth Goodridge, as well as Sylvanus Sawyer, who was an inventor and a businessman.
