Dellslow
Dellslow, West Virginia, was established in 1798 and remains one of the oldest communities in the region. Located directly south of Brookhaven and only 5 miles outside of Morgantown, Dellslow is nestled among the wooded hills and river valleys of northern West Virginia.
As West Virginia University is located in Morgantown, the city is full of youthful excitement and provides many venues and clubs for musical performances of all kinds. It is home to a surprising art scene with multiple art exposition centers and small, intimate theaters.
The Monongahela River meanders around Morgantown to the west and visitors can also find Cheat Lake less than 10 miles to the northeast; this offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy numerous activities on the water. West Virginia's wilderness makes it a hotspot for hunting, camping, hiking, and climbing, especially at the expansive Cooper's Rock State Forest, which lies 12 miles east of Dellslow on I-68.
