Coffee Springs
Coffee Springs is located in Geneva County of Alabama and is a small town. It is included in the Dothan, AL Metropolitan Statistical Area as it is only around 35 miles away from Dothan. As of 2012, Coffee Springs had a population of 229, making it a small town by any standards. This means that it is an excellent place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or simply get in touch with nature. All of the homes in the town are rural and there is a great deal of green area between and around them.
In addition to having a small population, the town of Coffee Springs is also physically small, covering only 0.8 square miles. If you plan on visiting the area be prepared for a humid subtropical climate. This means that summers are hot and humid while winters are more comfortable with mild to cool temperatures.
Murdock Pond is located on the western edge of Coffee Springs and there are also multiple streams running throughout the town including Beaverdam Creek. Even with its small size, the town is home to schools including Coffee Springs High School and Coffee Springs Elementary School. There are also several churches within the area.
