North Springfield
Vermont is a beautiful state and North Springfield, which is just 1.1 square miles, with over 500 residents, is no exception. As community that is part of the town of Springfield, in Windsor County, Vermont, this community has a height of 495 feet above sea level. The community's post office has been operational since the year 1832, and even though the town has always been rather small, the community has always functioned as a place where many different people gather. Those that live in the community are very nice and welcoming, while there are also plenty of shops and restaurants in the greater area of the neighborhood, along with sufficient places to stay.
One of the biggest draws available for the community is that North Springfield is home to the Stellafane Observatory, which is known as a National Historic Landmark. This single landmark alone brings in many hopeful and aspiring astrologists, stargazers, and telescope enthusiasts from all over the globe. This is a great community for families, as well as friends, and couples who want to get away from the every day.
