Pisek
Pisek is a city that resides within Walsh County, in the state of North Dakota. At a size of only 0.12 square miles, the population is quite large, in comparison, with 106, whom are spread out over about 51 households, and through about 28 families. Still, if you are looking for a place to get away, then this is a perfect place to be. Even though it is a small area, and the people who live there are very nice, it is also an area that understands the value of being by yourself. Therefore, if you are just coming out here to relish in the fantastic North Dakoda scenery, then you have found a peaceful and quiet place which will allow you to do just that.
The city of Pisek was first established in 1882 by a few Bohemian settlers that had traveled from an area in what is now the Czech Republic, called Pisek. Due to the sand ridge that has built up nearby and is still standing tall today, those settlers were evidently reminded of home, because they named the new area Pisek as well, which means “sand” in their native language. This area, which otherwise is pretty rural, has had a knack for standing out ever since it was founded, and it is sure to be a place that you and your family or friends will also remember forever.
