Orange Park

Situated in northeastern Florida, Orange Park is part of Clay County and considered by some to be a suburb of Jacksonville, FL. With numerous beaches, golf courses, parks, and attractions, it is easily within driving distance of Jacksonville. The town was named by its hopeful founders for a fertile fruit-growing industry. Sadly all of the crops were destroyed during the area’s Great Freeze of 1894-95 and those crops never recovered.
