Manassas

Part of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area, and located just south of Manassas National Battlefield Park, Manassas, VA is rich in U.S. history and culture. West Gate, one of Manassas' suburbs is centrally located in Manassas, and is just a short drive to a number of the area's historic sites, and downtown Washington D.C. is just a short train ride away. Old Town Manassas is the city's downtown area, and with its quaint shops and restaurants it's worth parking your car and heading out for a walk through one of the nation's most important historic sites.
