New Orleans

Zion City, New Orleans is a neighborhood that made a massive contribution to gospel music in the 1930's. Today, the neighborhood of Zion City has very separate commercial and residential areas, separated by Earhart Boulevard, with commercial to the north of the boulevard, and residential to the south. Many believe that Zion City is part of the neighborhood of Gert Town, but they are in fact separate and thriving neighborhoods.
