Wasilla
Wasilla, Alaska, is located on the northern point of Cook Inlet and is part of the Anchorage metropolitan area. Established at a major crossroads, the city prospered from an influx of mining to the area, as well as the creation of the Alaska Railroad in the early 1900s.
Wasilla offers a large number of activities for any visitor. Because it's only a 45-minute drive from Alaska's biggest city, but also sits on the doorstep of the rugged scenic beauty Alaska is known for, you'll surely find there's something for everyone.
