McLean
Tysons Corner, and edge city located in McLean and adjacent to Vienna, Virginia is part of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area along the Potomac River. An upscale community, home to a number of business parks and shopping malls, McLean was established in 1910 after the Great Falls and Old Dominion Railroad were created just a few years before. The city is home to the C.I.A. Headquarters in Langley and major employers in the area include Mars Inc., Geebo, and ServInt. Tysons Corner was founded in the early 1960s when the Tysons Corner Center mall was built. The shopping mall, home to a number of large retailers and smaller shops and restaurants is the largest shopping mall in the state of Virginia.
