Canal Winchester
Canal Winchester, Ohio is situated approximately 15 miles from the downtown area of Columbus, Ohio - to the southeast of the state's capital city. It is both a dynamic and historic community that boasts small-town charm and a rich heritage. Canal Winchester was originally founded in 1828 and flourished as a hub for agriculture and transportation with the arrival of the Ohio and Erie Canal. The city is part of both Franklin and Fairfield counties and, as of the 2010 census, supports a population of just over 7,000.
