Kyles Ford

Kyles Ford is a small Appalachian community located in the northeastern corner of Tennessee. It is beautifully located between the Powell and Clinch mountains, between the Newman's and River ridges, and along the gently meandering Upper Clinch River. Kyles Ford proudly serves as home to the Kyles Ford Wildlife Management Area, which falls under the auspices of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and the Kyles Ford Preserve, which is managed with the TWRA in conjunction with the Nature Conservancy and others. These initiatives are designed to preserve the rare, threatened, and endangered freshwater mussels that are found in the region. They come together in the form of River Place on the Clinch, a hub for outdoors enthusiasts and conservationists alike. Kyles Ford is also a popular spot for anyone looking to enjoy a slow pace of life and some warm Southern hospitality.
