Texarkana
Not to be confused with nearby Texarkana, Arkansas, the town of Texarkana, Texas sits right on the Arkansas/Texas border in an area known as the Ar-La-Tex region due to its bordering states. A growing town of just over 35,000 residents, Texarkana is home to the brand new Texas A&M University- Texarkana campus, as well as top ranked Texas public schools. Texarkana also has a largely religious influence, partially due to the American Baptist Association being headquartered in the small city. In a city where churches are found on every block, streets are lined with tall oak trees, and families are everywhere, the city of Texarkana has been a popular residing spot for citizens of all ages for decades now.
