Yuba City
Yuba City has a population of more than 60,000 people with a surrounding metro area of more than 160,000. Although despite the growing population, the area still has a friendly small town charm. It's even home to one of the largest communities of Sikh people outside the state of Punjab in India. Each year there's a parade to celebrate their heritage and in 2012, it drew more than 150,000 people.
With a climate similar to the Mediterranean, the hot dry summers and wet cool winters are perfect for farming, especially prunes. This is why Yuba City is called the Prune Capital of the World. With a growing economy, it also has lots of opportunities for business and retail. Whether you want to enjoy the restaurants, shop, or visit the attractions, you'll find plenty to do in Yuba City.
