- About Us - Jarrod P. Kaufman, MD, FACS, is a surgeon and founding member of Premier Surgical in Brick, New Jersey. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine and a clinically affiliated faculty member at the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kaufman also serves as the Chairman of Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Hospital. He has extensive experience in general surgery, including advanced laparoscopic surgery, complex hernia repair, and chronic venous insufficiency. Dr. Kaufman received his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel, and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
