Cecil
With a population of only 540 people in 2012, Cecil, Alabama, is a community that embodies the essence of small town America. Located near the center of the state and a part of Montgomery County, Cecil is a rural area with lots of lush, green land. The area is home to famous musician Nat King Cole and actress Brett Butler and is 20 miles southeast of Montgomery, the state capital of Alabama and the site of many historic landmarks from the Civil Rights Movement.
