Asbury

Asbury is a very small farming community that is located within Green Briar County, in the state of West Virginia. Despite its tiny size, it has a post office, but there are only two main streets in the town; these are state Highway 12 and Old Asbury Road. Asbury sits just south of Interstate 64 and the nearest sizeable city is Lewisburg, approximately 30 miles to the east. Asbury is situated in the heart of West Virginia's Appalachian Mountains back country, and there are only a handful beautiful old single family homes and farmhouses in the area. This is where to visit for an authentic back woods experience in one of the most historically impoverished areas of the United States.
