Rugby
With a population of just under 3,000 people, Rugby, North Dakota, is the quintessential northern town. The temperatures are mild to cold, averaging in the middle 40s throughout the year. With a rustic, sprawling feel, Rugby is home to small-town attractions and interesting spots that are unique to less populated regions. Now considered a municipality, it was not until recently that Rugby got its city designation, and the population continues to grow. Yet, the community still retains its rural appeal. The Heart of America Library located in the middle of town is a popular spot for children and adults, with a reading room that is populated throughout the year with different youth activities. During election season, politics are at the forefront in heated yet amicable races for local offices. Like a picture from a postcard, Rugby is a beautiful and interesting tourist spot.
