Yukon
Named after the Yukon River in Alaska, the city of Yukon, Oklahoma is a small town of approximately 25,000 year round residents outside of Oklahoma City. Yukon has historically been an agricultural hub for farmers in the milling industry, but has lately been known as a bedroom community to those who work in Oklahoma City but are looking for a slower pace of life. With several historical sites around town, including Czech Hall and the Chisholm Trail, Yukon provides a good balance between renovated buildings and modern amenities and historical charm.
