Rockville
North Bethesda Town Center lies in the heart of North Bethesda, an unincorporated area five miles northwest of Washington, D.C. Although it's boundaries are not officially defined, it is considered an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland, bordering Rockville, Maryland. Rockville is one of Maryland's oldest towns with history going as far back as Colonial America. Rockville is a part of the greater Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area, as well as the county seat and a chief incorporated town in Montgomery County. Rockville, Bethesda, and neighboring Gaithersburg, all form the Interstate 270 Technology Corridor, home to plenty of major software and biotechnology companies, as well as quite a few federal government institutions.
