Libertyville
Libertyville is a suburb just north of Chicago, and located a mere twenty miles from the border of Wisconsin, and yet another ten miles from Six Flags Great America and Fort Sheridan. It is currently on the land that once housed the Illinois River Potawatomi tribe, which was forced to move and sell their land in 1829. It has been given an award by the National Trust for Historical Preservation as one of the Great American Main Streets, where people still walk the main streets and in the evening, everyone meets at the microbrewer or the gourmet coffee house.
