Saint Petersburg
Saint Petersburg, also known as St. Pete and The Burg, was incorporated in 1892. Saint Petersburg is a residential area that has become a popular tourist destination even though violent crime has been a problem for this city. Close to the beach, this city has a little bit of everything to offer; culture, nature, and history.
St. Petersburg, Florida, has always been a major tourist attraction due to its many waterways and southern climate. Tourism provides most of St. Petersburg’s revenue every year, but the city is also well-versed in marine science, information technology, financial services, and manufacturing. There are no major corporations; however, the city does just fine with the attractions and waterways that bring the tourists every year.
