Buford

A town of over 12,000 in north central Georgia, Buford has a number of good things going for it. This town has a low tax rate, and since the state of Georgia also has a low tax rate, the town was recognized by CNN Money as one of the best 3 places in the nation to live and start a business. This is such a nice place to live, that several players of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons live here. The unemployment rate is low and opportunities abound here. Makita, a maker of power tools, is one of the area's largest employers with over 400 associates. This is a beautiful and scenic area with many walking trails throughout the city where one can take in the views. Beautiful city parks add to the appeal of this town and it boasts a larger library than one would normally expect to find in a town this size.
