Chino

A fast growing city of 80,000 in the San Fernando Valley, Chino California, has a long history as an agriculture and dairy center. Today, it is more of a middle-class town that still has some residents who have goats and chickens, so it still has a bit of a rural feel. There are also many industrial areas in this town, and it has a slightly lower than average crime rate for a city its size. Chino is close to lots of green space, and Chino Hills State Park is on the southwestern border of the town. The schools here perform above the state average, and while this is overall a safe and nice place to live, there better zip codes in the Inland Empire. The town is somewhat well known in popular culture, but most often those references are to the prison that is located here. There is a good local public transportation service here for residents and visitors to the area.
