Ontario
Located in the south western corner of San Bernardino County in California, Ontario is 35 miles east of Los Angeles. Positioned in the western part of California’s Inland Empire region, Ontario is considered a part of the Greater Los Angeles Area and sits east of the Los Angeles County line. Canadian brothers George, William, and Charles Chaffey gave the city its name in honor of their home province of Ontario, Canada, when they established the Ontario Model Colony development in 1882.
