Culver City

On the map for its cinematic history Culver City is known as "The Heart of Screenland" famous for producing hundreds of films in Culver City's Studios. Most notably this includes some of the best motion pictures of all time such as Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane and the television show I Love Lucy was shot at Desilu Productions. This little nostalgic city is located in the West Side of Los Angeles and is comprised of practical suburban middle class homes, walkable tree lined streets, bike paths, old buildings,and production studios. Wonderful trails wander though Culver City's regions and into the area's encircling hills offering glorious hiking. The parks, community theaters,and art galleries mixed with a calm atmosphere and wholesome family values give this adorable town a trendy feel with friendly people.
