Callahan
A small town of 1,000 residents located in Nassau County, Callahan, Florida, is close to all of the action in the big city. This is a charming small town in the north east corner of the state that has its own high school, fire, and police department.
You'll be greeted by a large water tower with the logo of the local high school Warriors on it when you come into town. The median age here is 33, so there is a good mix of young and old here and while the town may not have a lot to do for the younger set, more exiting prospects are not far away.
If you run into a long-time resident, chances are they will have some entertaining stories to tell you about the area's history, that stretches back to the early part of the 19th Century.
