Parker

Parker, Colorado, is best known for its unique Western-Victorian downtown. Founded in 1864, it is a picturesque town perched 5,900 feet above sea level. Prior to settlement, the area was hunting grounds for Native American populations, as the Plains-Woodland Indians, Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute. It has a rich history of exploration and expansion. Located 20 miles southeast of Denver, Parker is a primary commuter down for Colorado’s capital city.
