Los Alamitos
Located in Orange County just south of Los Angeles, is the small town of Los Alamitos, California. The population is about 11,000 people and the ambience is a mix of beach side town and military and National Guard families. It is mainly known for the Los Alamitos Army Airfield built in 1941. The area is mainly residential sprinkled with a few businesses and community centers. The airport is host to major landings such as the Air Force One and the Space Shuttle.
