Boelus
When you visit Boelus, Nebraska you are certainly going to be in for an adventure. This town is one of those very small, one-horse towns, which will make you relax and enjoy yourself no matter what. If you are interested in being surrounded by a very small town, referred to more like a village, and you enjoy rising with the sun, and getting your mind off of everything from home, then Boelus is the town for you.
The town of Boelus, or what is known locally as Howard City, is only 0.71 square miles and has a population that is just over 220. Within this mostly residential area, there are about 90 households, with many older families growing up here. All of the people you will meet are very nice and hospitable and Boelus is also the home town of Nebraska legislator, Lowen Kruse who was elected in 2001 at the age of sixty-two.
