Dearborn Heights is a small city outside Detroit, Michigan. The small, but densely populated city has a long history in the Michigan auto industry. Even with the decline in auto factories, the city of Dearborn Heights has progressed, largely due to its focus on other industries. The city is now improving its healthcare and education sectors, and has succeeded quite well in these efforts. Detroit is nearby with its great entertainment options including the Detroit Lions NFL team and the Major League Baseball team the Detroit Tigers, making Dearborn Heights the perfect place to live or visit for those who want to be close to the big city, but not in it.
