Chattanooga
Located in the southeastern part of the state, Chattanooga, Tennessee, is the county seat of Hamilton County with a population of 168,000. It is the fourth largest city in the state, and this is a city that has received recognition for its beautiful downtown area and riverfront.The city of Chattanooga is surrounded by beautiful mountains, and it is home to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Chattanooga State Community College. These schools along with Blue Cross Blue Shield Tennessee, and Across America Transport, are some of the area's largest employers.The economy is diversified and a mix of service and manufacturing industries, so there is plenty of opportunity here. The city of Chattanooga is rich in arts and culture, and there is always something to do here where the residents for the most part enjoy a very high quality of life. Outdoor sports are also very popular here, as the weather is pleasant for most of the year with hot summers, and mild winters.There is an excellent public transportation system in the city, and it also has one of the best series of bike trails and bike stations of any city in the country.
