Gaithersburg

Mountain View Estates is a little Gaithersburg neighborhood of 3,000 people, mostly families, located just south of Germantown and Southwest of the city center. Gaithersburg is located northwest of Washington, D.C. and north of Rockville, and is considered a suburb of the greater Metropolitan Area that includes the capital city. One of the earliest areas to be settled in the United States, it hit the maps in 1765 as a small agricultural area known as “Log Town.”
