Windmills West is a neighborhood in Chandler, Arizona located west of the downtown area. This is an affluent neighborhood with nice, single-family homes on well maintained lots, that are often large in size. Many of the people here work in one of the many high tech industries located in the city. Windmills West is home to over 1,500 residents. The majority of residents here are White, with small numbers of Hispanics, Asians, and African-Americans also living here. Home prices and rental rates here are well above the city average. There is green space here, as the neighborhood is home to Windmills West Park. There is an excellent 18-hole championship golf course just minutes away, and it is a short drive from here to the city of Phoenix, and all it has to offer. Several good dining and shopping options are nearby, and the neighborhood is served by a good public transportation system.
