Schaumburg
Schaumburg, Illinois is a suburb in northwest Chicago, it is considered a part of an area called the Golden Corridor. You’ll find Schaumburg to be about 28 miles to the northwest of the famous Chicago Loop. It’s also conveniently just ten miles to the northwest of the O’Hare International Airport. It’s a bustling city with a population of more than 74,000 people.
Some of the areas surrounding Schaumburg are, Palatine and Hoffman Estates as well as Elk Grove Village, Roselle, Hanover Park and Streamwood.
For people looking to raise a family in the area, kids have access to Schaumburg Township School District 54 for elementary schools available. There are five high schools for the area; Palatine, Fremd, Conant, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg.
Home to Motorola Solutions world headquarters and one of Illinois’s two Ikea stores, the area has much to offer its residents and visitors alike. It’s a diverse area with businesses providing jobs for the residents such as IBM, Zurich Insurance Group and Comcast.
