Redondo Beach
One of Los Angeles County's Beach Cities along with Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach is located at the south end of Santa Monica Bay. A vast beach connects these three distinct cities, creating a vibrantly blended beach community. The city's origins date back to the Rancho San Pedro Spanish land grant from 1785 and it has been a popular resort destination for the last century. Redondo Beach is generally considered as having two distinct areas, North and South. The former offers the city's inland residential, commercial, cultural, and industrial space, the latter of which offers gentrified beachside neighborhoods with a variety of restaurants and relaxed appeal.
