Wichita

The Westlink neighborhood is a large and very pleasant district in the western reaches of greater Wichita. This solidly middle-class area features a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and apartments, mostly all constructed in the 1980s and 1990s; there are also plenty of pretty tree-lined streets as well as several lovely parks. The Westlink district is a bedroom community for the many employees of Wichita's numerous business and manufacturing operations including its major aircraft manufacturing, meat processing, and various entrepreneurial facilities. It's a great base for exploring greater Wichita's many cultural, entertainment, historic, and outdoor attractions.
