Coconut Grove
Out of all of Miami's neighborhoods, Coconut Grove is the oldest one that's still inhabited today. Most of the city is very thick and heavy with dense greenery, giving the air a cleaner quality thanks to the high level of carbon dioxide absorption. A lot of people who live in the area simply refer to it as “The Grove,” and if you see just how voluminous the vegetation in the area is, you'll understand just how fitting that name really is. Northeast Coconut Grove is home to around 13,000 people and has a considerably lower population density than Miami proper.
