Cazadero

Cazadero, California, is an unincorporated community of under 400 residents located in Sonoma County. This small community has a downtown area that features a general store, a post office, a hardware store, an auto repair shop and two churches. The Cazadero Volunteer Fire Department also has their headquarters here, and along with a few modest homes complete all there is of this small community. This is a beautiful part of the state, with no hotels or resorts. Just are just a few vacation rental homes and a small and rustic inn. The community is bordered by redwood forests and Austin Creek, which meanders downstream to the Russian River. This is a charming place to live, and it has a few hidden treasures for those willing to explore it.
