Casa Grande
Located between the cities of Phoenix and Tucson, Casa Grande is a city of about 50,00 residents. This is a dynamic, modern city with a small town heritage. Once a farming and agricultural community, Casa Grande today is a city with a booming manufacturing sector, and is a retail trade center. Other top area employers include the state and federal government and tourist related industries.
Most residents and visitors to the city enjoy the arid desert climate, with hot summers and very mild winters. This makes it a great place for golf and other sports all year round. There are many scenic attractions in the area that brings tourists from all over the nation and the world.
A revitalized downtown area today is home to museums and theaters. Annual events include the Arizona State Chili Open in March, and the annual O'Odham Tash Celebration is a gathering of native tribes from the area that get together for Native American arts and crafts displays, rodeos, ceremonial dances, and more.
The city is home to Central Arizona College and Northern Arizona University, so there is a good population of young adults who enjoy the nightlife scene here. This is a low crime area and one of the best places to live in the state of Arizona.
