Burnsville
Located just south of twin cities of Minneapolis and St.Paul, Burnsville, Minnesota, is home to about 60,000 residents. The city is a recreational attraction with many things to do for people of all ages.
The downtown area is called the “Heart of the City” because of the number of condos and its urban-style retail. The Burnsville Transit Station is the headquarters of the Minnesota Transit Authority, providing reasonably priced bus transit to five adjacent suburbs.
There is excellent shopping at the Burnsville Mall, a regional mall that serves the entire area. There is also a performing art center here that has two theaters, as well as a center for the arts. Green space is highly valued by residents here with over 1,800 acres of park land spread out over 79 parks in the city.
All in all, this is a beautiful place to live with low crime rates and low unemployment. If you love snow skiing and snow boarding, this is the ideal place for you.
