Saint Marys City
Saint Mary's City is a historic unincorporated community in Saint Mary's County located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay - the community is more popularly referred to as Historic Saint Mary's City. The community of Saint Mary's City is the historic site of the first North American colony settled for the purpose of religious freedom. The community of Saint Mary's City was also the first capitol of Maryland and was the forth-oldest original English settlement.
