Ocean Park
Ocean Park, Maine is an unincorporated community found at the southern part of Maine along the coast within the town of Old Orchard Beach. This historic village has a long history starting from the 1600s when several explorers landed in the area and walked Ocean Park's shores. In 1881, the village began its current history as a summer haven for locals and tourists alike. All of Ocean Park is a game preserve as determined by the state of Maine, along with being adjacent to the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Many of the homes in the area were constructed in the 1880s and in 1982, the village was added to the National Register of Historic places.
