Kansas City

Kansas City was originally founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River. Originally named Kansas, the area got its name of “Kansas City” in 1854 due to the confusion with the establishment of the Kansas territory. Today the city is known for its love of culture, performing arts, and beautiful architecture.
